Where kids rise above the ordinary
How Elevation Acrobatics started
Anel Goliath is the founder and head coach of Elevation Acrobatics, combining a lifelong background in gymnastics with over 20 years of experience coaching children in gymnastics and aerial acrobatics.
After discovering pole sport in 2011, Anel began competing in 2014, earning silver at her first International Pole and Aerial Sports Federation (IPSF) competition. She has since competed in The Pole Factor, APAC and the PCS Arnold Classic, and represented South Africa at the Pole Sports & Arts World Federation (POSA) Aerial Art World Championship in Rome, Italy, in 2024. She is known for her dynamic tricks and powerful acrobatic style.
Her qualifications in Biokinetics and Sport Science are what shape how the classes are built: children are not simply shown a trick and asked to copy it. They are built up to it, with conditioning that respects a growing body and progressions that only move on when the strength is genuinely there.
What a class actually looks like
Elevation blends pole and aerial acrobatics with gymnastics fundamentals, dance and artistic expression. A session moves from warm-up and conditioning into skill work, then into linking those skills together, and finishes with a stretch. It is energetic and it is playful — for the younger groups a great deal of the conditioning is disguised as a game — but it is structured underneath.
Every element is spotted. Height only goes up when a child is ready for it. Nobody is asked to perform in front of the group unless they want to.
Who it is for
Children from six years old, boys and girls, with no experience required. We run age bands at 6–8, 9–12 and 13–17, mixed-age classes for siblings or for children who sit between bands, and private and semi-private sessions on request. Athletes who want to compete have a clear path through our Routines Clinic and Competition Class.
