These terms cover the use of this website and the booking of classes with Elevation Acrobatics.

1. Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you and Elevation Acrobatics (“we”, “us”, “the studio”), and govern your use of elevationacrobatics.co.za and any class you book through it. The site is intended for parents and guardians aged 18 or over, and for the children in their care who attend or wish to attend our classes. By booking a class you confirm you are 18 or over and are entitled to make the booking on that child's behalf.
2. Bookings
A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email containing a booking reference. Where a class is full you may join the waitlist; a waitlist place is not a confirmed booking, and we will contact you if a space opens.
Classes are subject to minimum numbers. If we have to cancel a class we will tell you as early as we can and either move your booking or credit it.
3. Payment
Classes and packages are paid for on this site through Yoco, our payment provider. You pay on Yoco's secure checkout page, and payment details are handled entirely by Yoco — we neither see nor store them.
A place is held for twenty minutes while you complete payment. If payment is not completed in that time the place is released and nothing is charged. A booking is only confirmed once Yoco tells us the payment succeeded.
Package credits are valid for the period shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase, and are for use by your own children. Unused credits are not refundable in cash once the validity period has passed.
4. Cancellations and missed classes
You may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before a class, using the link in your confirmation email or the manage booking page. Bookings and cancellations close 24 hours before a class; inside that window, and for classes not attended, the class is treated as used. Please contact us if illness or an emergency prevents attendance — the studio can still move your child or issue a credit at its discretion, and we would rather hear from you than not.
Where a class was booked with a package credit, cancelling in time returns that credit to your account. Where a single class was paid for directly, cancelling in time entitles you to a credit for another class; refunds to the original payment method are at our discretion and are processed through Yoco.
5. Safety, health and supervision
Acrobatics, pole and aerial work carry an inherent risk of injury. Our coaches spot every element and progress students only when they are ready, but risk cannot be removed entirely. By booking you confirm that:
- your child is in good health and fit to take part;
- you have told us about any injury, medical condition, allergy or medication relevant to their participation, and will keep us updated if that changes;
- you accept that your child takes part at their own risk, and that we are not liable for injury except where it results from our negligence;
- children must be dropped off and collected on time, and remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian outside class times.
We may ask a student to sit out or leave a class where their behaviour puts themselves or others at risk.
6. Studio rules
- No body lotion, oil or moisturiser on class days — skin needs to grip.
- Jewellery removed, hair tied back, and no chewing gum.
- Appropriate training clothing as described on each class page.
- Nobody uses equipment unsupervised.
7. Photography
We sometimes photograph or film classes for our own social media and marketing. Tell us in writing if you do not want your child to appear, and we will make sure they do not.
8. This website
The content of this site — text, photographs, video and graphics — belongs to Elevation Acrobatics or its licensors. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Copying, scraping or commercial use requires our written permission.
We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided as-is. We may change these terms; the version on this page at the time of your booking is the one that applies to it.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
